Yin /Yang Workshop with Tara Hunt$45 Most of our yoga classes today are fast-moving and strength building classes where we work on the muscular half of our bodies (which are the Yang tissues). In Yin yoga we work at deeper levels. The Yin tissues are our ligaments , deep fascial networks and the bones . 30% of what we call muscle is actually fascia. We need to look after the whole body to achieve the best health we can. In this workshop we will start with a gentle vinyasa sequence to awaken and open up the body. We'll connect with the breath as we move through the sequence, then we will move to the Yin sequence. This pat of the workshop is designed to affect the deeper levels of the body allowing the body to surrender and let go. Below muscular tension the Yin half of our bodies are able to find softness . We will end the workshop with Yoga nidra, a very deep relaxation, leaving your body refreshed and renewed.
